Nike+ GPS

I have been meaning to post a blog about the Nike+ GPS App for months, but sadly, I have fallen off the wagon lately with my running. Time to get back to it!

The Nike+ App is a wonderful, and cheap running companion for your iPhone. For 1.99, I don't think you can do any better. This App does everything I need for tracking runs. It tracks distance, pace, and it will track your route through google maps.

The interface is a clear, concise, and beautiful presentation. It makes setting up your runs a breeze, and just an overall easy experience.

As you can see, from the main screen, you have the choice to start a new run or take on your last run to try and improve your time. The Nike Tag feature is new, and I have yet to try it, so more on that later...

For starting a new run, just make that selection from the home screen, and choose whether you want to do a basic run, run for a set time, or for a set distance.

Just select a run, and you're off. The greatest part of the Nike+ App, is the integration of your music into the workout. You can choose a certain artist, or album, or playlist.

You can change it up at any point during your run. Towards the end of your run, you can set a powersong of your choice to push yourself to end strong!

At the end of your run, check your distance, or:

Check your pace. The green or red in your run shows you where you were running your fastest, or slowest.

You can also check your route info, share your run with others, and even describe the run to remember the weather, terrain, and how you felt.

I love this App! If you have an iPhone, and love to run with it, get this App now!
